Laura Jean Magalas Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Laura Jean Magalas of Waterford, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 23, 2025 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Jim Tiller. She is survived by: her mother Pat Tiller; her husband Eugene; her children, Travis (Rochelle), Brooke Sloot (Andrew) and Garrett (Marissa); her granddaughter Clara; her siblings, Karen Campos and Jim Tiller (Brenda); and her pets, Leo and Tucker. She is also survived by many other relatives, friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ferris Funeral Home (214 Norfolk St S, Simcoe, ON N3Y2W4). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
If so desired, donations may be made to the Stedman Community Hospice or the Woodhouse United Cemetery.
