He is survived by: his wife Doris Smith; his son George Norman (Valerie); his grandchildren, Kole and Emma; his parent Verna Smith (Myke) of Waterford; his half-sisters, Ruby Dennis of Hamilton and Mary (Bert Hyson) of Hamilton; his sisters, Darlene (Michael Dewhirst), Walsh, Debra (Steve Hiltz) and Princeton; his brother-in-law Edward LeBlanc (Valerie); his friends, Brian Farley (Janet), Woodstock, Rosemary DeBackere, Courtland, Julie (Willy Desplenter), Tillsonburg and Mike Cerna; Lawrence Edwin Smith, Brantford, Wayne Louks (Cathy) and Langton.
Memorial donations in Lawrence's memory are payable by cheque to the "Purrfect Companions (Norfolk)" or to the "Heart and Stroke Foundation" through the funeral home.
