He was predeceased by: his grandson Tyler Norrie; his parents, Laverne Carpenter and Carrie Carpenter; his brothers, Stan, Glen, Donny and Melvin; and his brother-in-law Rick.
He is survived by: his spouse Lynn Carpenter; his children, Karen Hishon (Tom), Kevin Carpenter (Tina) and Jennifer Summers (Ian); his grandchildren, Lynsey Norrie (James), Zachary and Destinee Carpenter; his siblings, Carl and Debbie; his brothers-in-law, Lyle (Jeannie) and Bart; his pet Bella; and his close friends, Bob and Rose.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Waterford Royal Canadian Legion Branch #123 (223 Nichol St W, Waterford, ON N0E1Y0).
A Celebration of Rick's life has been planned for Sunday, November 1st , 2026 at the Waterford Royal Canadian Legion Branch 123, 223 Nichol Street W, Waterford from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. Those wishing to make donations in Rick's name are asked to consider South Coast Community Caring for Cancer or the Who-Did-It Club.
