He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Giles; his parents, Maurice Giles and Vera Giles; and his siblings, Shirley Mudge (Jim) and Ken Giles.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Dreyer (Tony), Kym Giles and Scott Giles (Carrie); his grandchildren, Amanda Angers (Benjamin), Devon Dreyer (Sarah), Caitlin Gurney (Paul), Jesse Belore (Katie), Aiden Giles (Catrina) and Landon Giles; and his great grandchildren, Cameron, Anna, Jérémié, Emmanuelle, Conner, Sawyer, Henri, Layne and Callie.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thompson Mott Funeral Home (62 Main St N, Waterford, ON N0E1Y0). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Boston Baptist Church (2985 Cockshutt Rd, Waterford, ON N0E1Y0).
