It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Floyd Nelson (Waterford, Ontario), who passed away on October 7, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his significant other Mary Lynn West; his daughters, Darlene Kline and Cathy (Bill Summerhayes); his grandchildren, Jessica (Christopher), Blaire (Zach), Paige (Tom), William (Laura) and Sam; and his great grandchildren, Summer, Georgina, Jack, Harry, Colwyn, Tennyson and Billy.

“Just one week ago Mary and I arrived for our Winston Park hymn sing, to learn that Floyd had passed away just hours before. The hymn sing became a somewhat uniquely reflective hour after we shared your news. We've witnessed your family generations loving Floyd - wonderful testimony! We occasionally even let you "steal" him from our hymn sing for sweet family visiting. :) And now, God has "stolen" his child from amongst all of us! We pray for God's peace in this time.
