He was predeceased by: his mother Cathy Ann Bourgeon. He is survived by: his siblings, Dave Bourgeon of Waterloo and Melanie Bourgeon of Sudbury; and his father David Bourgeon of Levack. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
