With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Brian Douglas Cleland in Waterloo, Ontario, born in Kingston, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 11, 2026 at the age of 79. He is survived by: his wife Gail; his children, Elizabeth Williams (Aaron), Jennifer Taylor (Jared), Katherine Busuttil (David) and Jonathan Cleland (Laura); his grandchildren, Isaac, Rebekah, Carys, Cohen, Anna and Judah; his sister Nancy Lund; and his siblings-in-law, Sharon, Thomas Fischer, Wendy and Wayne Nelson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 31st 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Grandview Church (250 Old Chicopee Dr, Kitchener, ON N2A4J2). A reception will be held on Sunday, May 31st 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Grandview Baptist Church (250 Old Chicopee Dr, Kitchener, ON N2A4J2).
