He was predeceased by: his child Tracey Lopers (Ronald); and his siblings, Andrea Mitchell (Tom) and Marianne Hahn (Jim). He is survived by: his wife Helen Owers; his children, Dr. Wendy Owers (Jim Gray) and Kristyn Owers; his stepdaughter Lauren Mac Eachern (Joey); and his grandchildren, Nicholas Lopers (Marissa), Taylor Parker (Jaime), Hunter Gray and Selma Owers. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home (171 King St S, Waterloo, ON N2J1P7). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home Chapel (171 King St S, Waterloo, ON N2J1P7). A reception will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home (171 King St S, Waterloo, ON N2J1P7).
