She was predeceased by: her great-grandparent Catherine Elizabeth Allen; her husband Herbert Audric Allen; and her parents, Rev. George Herbst and Mary Herbst. She is survived by: her children, George Allen (Liz Nafziger), Jane Ryan (Murray Black) and Mike Allen (Cathleen); and her grandchildren, Sarah Cherrey, Jeremy Allen (Daniella), Julie Ryan (Josh Richardson), Tracey Allen (Chris Morin), Jordan Ryan (Rosie), Josh Allen (Heather) and Courtney Mundie (Tom).
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Erb and Good Family Funeral Home (171 King St S, Waterloo, ON N2J1P7). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Redeemer Lutheran Church (78 John St W, Waterloo, ON N2L1B8). A burial was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Parkview Cemetery (335 University Ave E, Waterloo, ON N2K3M7).
