He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Fraser and Corrine Fraser (Lamont); and his wife Susan (Evely). He is survived by: his children, Lisa McEwen (Shawn), Alan Fraser and Margaret Fraser (Brandon); his grandchildren, Ben, Anika, Sadie and Audrey; his brother Ian Fraser (Don Marie); and his nephews, Scott and Jeff Fraser.
Although he struggled bravely with Parkinson Disease for many years, he was always cracking jokes - when anyone offered him a cookie, he would always say "Is the Pope Catholic?".
