He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelis and Weintje; his sister Tueny; his brother-in-law Arie Nugteren; his brothers, Dick Van Holst and Gerrit; his sister-in-law Jean Van Holst; and his sister Nanda Van Wensveen.

He is survived by: his wife Hilda Van Holst; his children, Ron, Harvey (Hanan Van Holst), Lisa (Gail Van Holst) and Carla (Mark Frey); and his siblings-in-law, Sjaak Van Wensveen and Sjaan Van Holst. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Trinity Bible Chapel (1373 Lobsinger Line, Waterloo, ON N2J4G8). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025.
