David Harry Brenneman Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of David Harry Brenneman (Waterloo, Ontario) is shared. David passed away on August 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Miriam Gaeler; his parents, Jack Brenneman and Lavina Brenneman; his siblings, Erwin (Nora), Ray (Betty), Laverne, Marcella (Russ McNabb), Katie Grieg and Lucie Brenneman; and his in-laws, Reta, Harry Brandon, Alice, Don Elvy, Betty, Randy Hertzberger, Dee and Vern Petznik.

He is survived by: his daughters, Jane Brenneman of Stratford, ON and Lisa Brenneman of Picton, ON; his granddaughters, Eliza Beckett of Ottawa, ON and Emily Beckett of Kitchener, ON; his brother Herb Brenneman (Bev); and his close friend Dale Beckett. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

During the COVID "pademic", Dave moved from the family home he lovingly created, to the Westhill retirement home.
