She was predeceased by: her parents, John Albert Newton and Alice Donelda Newton. She is survived by: her brother Peter (Claire) of Toronto; her sons, Derek (Ashley) of Durham, Connecticut and Jason (Janet) of Waterloo; and her grandchildren, James, Elyse, Alexandra and Rebecca.
