He was predeceased by: his parents, Englebert Hohendorn and Ilse Hohendorn; his brother Achim (Heidi); and his brothers-in-law, Felix (Christel) and Waldemar.
He is survived by: his wife Edith; his sister Dagmar (Frank); his sister-in-law Heidi; his sons, Bernie (Charlene) and Peter (Shannon); and his grandchildren, Samantha, Ryan, Stephanie, Kristy and Matthew.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home (171 King St S, Waterloo, ON N2J1P7). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Erb and Good Family Funeral Home (171 King St S, Waterloo, ON N2J1P7).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dieter's memory to the Alzheimer Society of Waterloo Wellington.
