He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Stix and Elizabeth Stix; and his siblings, Elizabeth Ford, Elsie Baird (Patrick) and William.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie; his sons, Edward, James, Robert (Darlene) and John (Demi); his brother Carl (Dianne); and his sister-in-law Janice. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
