She is survived by: her children, Ted (Joyce) of Osoyoos, B. C, Cathy Dowsling (Tom) and Tim (Judy) of Kitchener, ON.; her grandchildren, Christopher Cronmiller (Amy), Tracy Spear (Allan) of Delta, B. C., Taryn Dowsling-Dejaegher (Matthew), Daniel Dowsling (Ashley), Victoria Davey (John) of Kitchener and Joshua Cronmiller (Magali) of Kelowna, BC.; her great grandchildren, Amorey, Esme, James, Carson, Kyle of Delta, B. C, Ellis, Scarlett and Violet of Kitchener; and her sisters-in-law, Faith Witt of Burlington, ON and Leona Cronmiller of Orillia, ON..
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home (171 King St S, Waterloo, ON N2J1P7). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to Canadian Lutheran World Relief in honour of the dedicated work both Vern and Bette committed their lives to.
