She was predeceased by : her husband Gerhard Rydzy; her brother Wilhelm Rueter; and her parents, Paul Rueter and Erna Rueter. She is survived by : her children, Ute Lischke (David), Paul Rueter (Ursula) and Kurt Lischke; her grandchildren, Jack, Jeffrey (Lisa), Paul-Emile, Alexander (Marie) and Adrienne (Mallory); and her great grandchildren, Elias, Aron, Max, Leontine and Bastien.
