He was predeceased by : his parents, Frederick Gray and Gladys Gray; and his sisters, Marilynn Kravec, Margaret Newman and Carolyn Gray.

He is survived by : his wife Patricia; his children, David (Jamie) of Calgary, Susan (David) of Kitchener and Laura (Daniel) of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Ashley (Umaid) and Jordanne; his stepgrandchildren, Jacklynn (Evan) and Adam (Claire); his stepgreat-granddaughters, Phoebe and Elouise; and his sister Gladys (Blair). He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
