He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Richard Scholz and Mrs. Richard Scholz; sisters: Irma (George) Bakalar, Lillian (Chester) Kuhl, Eunice (Gerald) Danford, and Sharon (Jack) Bateman; sister-in-law: Kathe (Howard) Kaufman; wife: Doreen Kaufman; children: Paul (Betty Lu), James (Sandy), Carol (Bud Norman), and Jennifer (Ian Voelker); officiant: Joel Kuhl; and 10 grandchildren, 8 grandchildren-in-law, and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home (171 King St S, Waterloo, ON N2J1P7). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Redeemer Lutheran Church (78 John St W, Waterloo, ON N2L1B8). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Trintiy Lutheran Cemetery (6784 Line 88, Gowanstown, ON N0G1Y0).
