He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann Jones (Angus) and Ira Elbert Jones; and his brother Elbert Angus (Gus). He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Pat); his children, Carolyn Kingston (David), Clark (Karen Steinbach) and Evan of Peggy's Cove; his grandchildren, Julia Kingston, Selena Jones, Colin Jones and Sean Tanaka Jones; his siblings, Marjorie Ann Cunningham, Dorothy Louise (Thea), Riccio (Luca), Douglas Murray Jones and Janet Mary Jones (Andrew Forberg); and his sister-in-law Elizabeth (Zibby). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home (171 King St S, Waterloo, ON N2J1P7).
