Though Jay-Jay may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jay-Jay touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charlie Weiler and Barbara Weiler; and his children, Hannah, Cayla and Annika.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home (171 King St S, Waterloo, ON N2J1P7). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Waterloo Mennonite Brethren Church (245 Lexington Rd, Waterloo, ON N2K2E1). A reception was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to One4Another (referencing The Jay Weiler Fund), an organization that Jay and his family hold close to their hearts and have supported for years with the help of their communities.
