He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Jack (late Marilyn), Marie (Doug) and Patsy (late Jim); his nieces and nephews, Diane, Brian, Brad, Allison, Stephanie, Bobby and Kathleen; his children, Mike (Darlene), Marne, Paul (Maria), Peter (Heidi) and Greg (Kelly); and his parents, Frederick Goodyear and Bertha Stortz.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home (171 King St S, Waterloo, ON N2J1P7). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Agatha RC Church (1839 Notre Dame Dr, St. Agatha, ON N0B2L0). A burial was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Agatha RC Cemetery (1820 Notre Dame Dr, St. Agatha, ON N0B2L0).
