We announce the death of John Crovetto (Waterloo, Ontario), who passed away on September 7, 2026, at the age of 88. John will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
John will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew John will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. John’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his mother Benetta; his son David; his grandson Joey; and his brother-in-law James Shular. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Crovetto; his sons, Paul Crovetto (Jayne) and Peter Crovetto (Sheri); and his daughter-in-law Shelly Crovetto. He is also survived by several in-laws, cousins, nephews and nieces.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Louis Roman Catholic Church (53 Allen St E, Waterloo, ON N2J1J3).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Waterloo Region for their excellent care of John during his final days, The KW Humane Society or charity of your choice.
