He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marcia; his daughters, Susan, Sarah (Matthew), Jennifer and Megan (Jason); his grandchildren, Thomas (Bethaney), Jonathan, Sarah, Nathalie, Alex, Andrew and Genevieve; his great grandchildren, Henry, Miles and Norah; his parents, John Shortreed and Edith Shortreed of London; his siblings, Mary Wright (Bob) and Robert Shortreed (Joanne); and his sister-in-law Nancy Hill.
