He was predeceased by: his parents, Douwe and Trijntje; his brothers, Jack, Mike and Wiebe Bylsma; and his siblings-in-law, Joanne Bylsma and Henk Van Dalen.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie; his daughter Angela Bylsma-Anderson (Wayne); his grandchildren, Amber, Roy and Emily; and his siblings, Tina (John Hordyk), Frances Bylsma, Bill (Tilly Bylsma) and Jim Bylsma. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
