Marion touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her son Helmut Splettstoesser Jr.; her parents, Lorne Durst and Ada Durst; and her brothers, Earl and Ronald Durst.
She is survived by: her husband Helmut Splettstoesser; her daughter Debbie Chamberlain; her daughter-in-law Krisztina Thoroughgood; her grandchildren, Becky Renaud, Trista Renaud, Raquel Sutherland, Helmut Splettstoesser Jr. and Jessica Splettstoesser; and her sibling's children, David, Scott Durst and Caryl Durst. She is also survived by her fourteen great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home (171 King St S, Waterloo, ON N2J1P7).
