It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Fredrick Weist (Waterloo, Ontario), who passed away on February 4, 2026, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rita Hicks (Bunny) and Donald Weist; his sister Heather Weist; and his uncle Len Olender. He is survived by: his significant other Christine Brennan-Weist; his children, William Weist (Thyana) and Ashley Ross (Sean); his aunt Marlene Olender; his niece Emma Brennan; his brother-in-law Paul Brennan; and his parents-in-law, Debbie and George Brennan.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation Journey Team - Weist's Beasts, where the Weist family will be running 5kms in Mark's honour on Father's Day, Sunday June 21st, 2026.
