She was predeceased by : her parents, Alvin Schefter and Hilda Schefter; and her sisters, Alvena, Florence and Elaine.

She is survived by : her sons, Paul (Joanne Connolly) and Michael (Soo Luen Tom); and her grandchildren, Sophia and Jed. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
