It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raul Tavares Ferreira (Waterloo, Ontario), who passed away on November 30, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sister Estella Schmitz; and his parents, Antonio Tavares Ferreira and Virginia Jesus Soares Ferreira. He is survived by: his wife Maria Fatima; his son Dr. Steven Ferreira; his daughter-in-law Sandra McKean-Ferreira; his siblings, Euclides Ferreira (Carmina), Fernando Ferreira and Victor Ferreira (Pat); and his stepmother Elmira Soares Ferreira.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home (171 King St S, Waterloo, ON N2J1P7). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home Chapel (171 King St S, Waterloo, ON N2J1P7).
