She is survived by : her daughters, Ann Marie (Jim) and Evelyn (Peter); her grandchildren, Marlee (Eric), Allison (Tom), Robyn and Bill (Amrita); her great grandchildren, Melissa, Justin, Beth, Canaan, Jacob and Jesse; and her sister-in-law Sister Georgina MacInnis.

“Dear Ann Marie, Evelyn and Families: Sending our Sincere Condolences to you all on the passing of your Mom. She was my Godmother as well an Aunt. She mentioned a few years back when we spoke on the phone that she wonder if she would out live Uncle George for he was in his late nineties.. Well she sure did do that in her one hundredth year. Amazing!! Many great memories when you all would come home to Sydney, Cape Breton on vacation. Sending hugs and prayers!! God Bless!! RIP: AUNT RITA”
