Ulka Prakash Khare Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ulka Prakash Khare (Waterloo, Ontario), who passed away on May 2, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ulka Prakash Khare to pay them a last tribute.

She is survived by : her husband Prakash Hari Khare; her children, Sharmila and Shree; her daughter-in-law Makiko Ashida; and her sisters, Meera, Sanjivini and Rani. She is also survived by family members and friends.

During the pandemic, she sewed hundreds of masks which were distributed throughout the Waterloo region and in indigenous communities and she took care of her granddaughter for the first three months of the lockdown.
