In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Waltroud had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Waltroud may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her significant other Rolf Ratte. She is survived by: her child Bernd (Shelley); her grandchildren, Gregory (Becky), Stephanie (Matt) and Nicholas; and her siblings, Heinz, Erika (Gert) and Ilse (Jorg).
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Erb and Good Family Funeral Home (171 King St S, Waterloo, ON N2J1P7).
