He was predeceased by: his father Leonard Wakem; and his wife Liz. He is survived by: his mother Audrey Beadle; his children, Kathy Finney (Ron) and Kevin Wakem (Diane); his grandchildren, Justin, Dylan Finney, Cara and Ashley Wakem; his brothers, Paul Wakem (Richard), Steve Wakem (Dale) and Howard Wakem (Theresa); and his sister-in-law Judy Wakem (Dave). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home (171 King St S, Waterloo, ON N2J1P7). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (306 Erb St. W, Waterloo, ON N2L1W3).
