He was predeceased by: his brother William R. Hastie; Jack Lehrbass. He is survived by: his spouse Gayle Hastie; his children, Mandy (Mark), Becky (TJay) and Jeff (Sara); his grandchildren, Ryder, Owen, Brooklyn, Reese, Toryn, Addalyn, Mason and Deacon; and his siblings, Deb Van Haaren (Joe), Linda (Allan), Janet (Wray), Larry (Anne), Diane, Brian (Barb), Nancy (Mike), Anita (Mike), Grant and Norma. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the East Lambton Community Centre (101 Centennial Ave, Watford, ON N0M2S0).
