He was predeceased by: his sister-in-law Sharon Gilliland (Ernie). He is survived by: his wife Vicki MacKenzie; his children, Lisa De Groot (late Ken), Krista VandenNieuwenhuizen (Dan) and Brad MacKenzie (Sonya); his grandchildren, Cameron (Morgan), Michaela (Tom), Carter (Sarah), Gage (Emily), Brett, Max, Avery, Julia (Tayo) and Ryan (Gracie); his brother Bill MacKenzie (Jo); and his brother-in-law Mike Williams (John).
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Warwick Community Centre (7076 Egremont Rd, Watford, ON N0M2S0).
In memory of Don, Donations may be made to the Warwick Township Fire Department or to the VON.
