She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Franssen; her siblings, Harry, Dennis Koolen and Louisa Mezenberg; and her siblings-in-law, Ivonne Koolen, Cathy Koolen, Eddy Mommersteeg and Tony Leyton.

She is survived by: her children, Francine Franssen, Greg Fransen, Richard Franssen and Sarah Stephens; her siblings, Tony Koolen (Rita), Gerry Koolen, Mary Mommersteeg, Ann Marie Leyton, Liz VanDinther (Pete), John Koolen (Charlene) and Jim Koolen (Annie); and her siblings-in-law, Linda Koolen and Cory Mezenberg. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
