He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ron Dashwood (Millie) and Marlene Vaillancourt. He is survived by: his parents, Amber Chrastina (Wayne) and Norm Dashwood (Stephanie); his siblings, Rayna and Alana; his stepsiblings, Leena and Noelle; his grandparents, George and Jeanne Chrastina; his great-grandparent Ann Fletcher; his stepgrandparents, Mary Pitts (Stu) and Dana Pitts; his aunts and uncles, Dan Chrastina (Becky) and Shaun Pitts (Yasmin); his cousins, Taya, Kohen and Kinley; and his close friend Moira.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the H. L. Cudney Funeral Home (241 W Main St, Welland, ON L3C5A4). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 30th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 4 (383 Morningstar Ave, Welland, ON L3B5B5).
