He was predeceased by : his father George Charuk; his siblings, Scott Charuk and Pamela Misner; his former life partner Margaret; his daughter Leslie Sibbald; and his granddaughter Felicia Sibbald.

He is survived by : his significant other Barbara; his mother Eleanor Charuk; his brother Craig Charuk; his son Charles Charuk (Colleen); his stepchildren, Alex Luffman and Erica Luffman; and his grandchildren, Hannah and Breton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

If so desired, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Niagara or the Walker Family Cancer Centre.
