He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his children, Dorothy Yapp (Frank), Marlene Miedema (late Tom), Calvin Miedema (Shelley) and George Miedema (Shelley); his grandchildren, Dorothy (Patrick), Steve (Trisha), Jennifer (Mark), Craig, Andrew Gage (Emily), Crystal (Donnie), Simon (Justyna), Patrick and Christopher; his great grandchildren, Destiny, Dawson, Dakota, Hillerie, Mikeal, Stephanie, Katrina, Zoe, Ryker, Sierra, Kyra, Carter, Sabina and Jack; and his siblings, William Miedema (Mina) and Ann DeJong (late Sid).
Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
