She was predeceased by: her parents, Lily Hobbs and William Hobbs; her husband Robert Scheel; her granddaughter Brenda Welsh; and her siblings, William Hobbs, Helen Spere (Walter), Marie Beaver (Richard) and Victor Hobbs.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Van Nest, Diane Willms (David), Darlene Welsh (Robert), Robert Scheel (Diane) and Debra Guiry (Paul); her grandchildren, Benjamin Van Nest (Miranda Hartle), Jennifer Van Nest, Christine Christakakos (Peter), Kevin Willms (Tara), Bradley Willms (Melissa), Catherine St. Germain (Timothy), Carolyn Scheel (Aaron Zammit), Erica Scheel (Christopher D'Orazio), Dylan Guiry and Shane Guiry; her sister Catherine McClellan; and her sisters-in-law, Anne Scheel and Dorothy Hobbs. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
