He was predeceased by: his former wife Brenda; and his sister Cindy Shepherd. He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his daughters, Amy Youngren and Natalie Vanderwier (Darrick); and his nephew Steve Mertz (Melissa).

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private graveside service will be held.

Memorial donations may be made to Arid Group Homes.
