Carol Lynn Laverdiere Obituary

We announce the death of Carol Lynn Laverdiere (Welland, Ontario), who passed away on June 26, 2026, at the age of 83. Carol will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Carol will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Carol will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Carol’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.

She was predeceased by: her husband John; and her son Greg. She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Laverdiere (Rocco) and Renée Ventresca (Mike); her grandchildren, Katie Van Zeumeren (Reuben) and Allie Balch (Jesse); her great grandchild Miles; her extended family, Ventresca and Di Cecca; her son-in-law Roger; and her close friend Sophia.

Donations in memory of Carol would be appreciated to the Niagara Children's Centre or passing an act of kindness onto others in her memory.
