He was predeceased by: his child Chereen Carie (Eddie); his parents, Charles Dobos and Elisabeth Dobos; and his siblings, Elizabeth Bailey (late Ed) and Mike Dobos.
He is survived by: his wife Vera; his child Gary Dobos (Pam); his grandchildren, Adam Carie (Shannon) and Trisha White (Brad); his great grandchildren, Eden Carie and Cody White; and his sibling Joyce Armstrong (Drummond). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Juravinski Cancer Centre or Knox Presbyterian Church.
