He was predeceased by: his wife Ann; his parents, Henry and Yolanda; and his brothers, Brian, Larry and Hank.
He is survived by: his daughters, Janice Zehentbauer (Ziggy) and Karen McCarthy (Dave); and his granddaughter Georgina McCarthy.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J. J. Patterson & Sons (19 Young St, Welland, ON L3B4C5). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Community Parish of St. Kevin (303 Niagara St, Welland, ON L3C1K5). A burial will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (50 Woodlawn Rd, Welland, ON L3C3J5). A committal service will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
