He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Stephanie (David Vogt) and Gregory (Sara); his grandchildren, Riley and Sophia; his parents, Rejeanne Schaeffer and Roland Schaeffer; his siblings, JoAnne Waechter (Jerry), Marieanne Honsberger (Harley), Ron Schaeffer (Trish), Rick Schaeffer (Dale) and Henry Schaeffer (Monica); and his uncle Gary.
