Gerard left this world on September 17, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his daughter Debbie Tremblay (Paul); and his siblings, Antje Helder (late Klass), Diane Oord, Johanna McQuillen (late Gary), Andrew Oord, Fred Oord (Wilma) and Gerta Oord.
He is survived by: his children, Lorie Clack (Dave), Stephen Irwin (Nici), Mathew Irwin and Tracy Oord; and his siblings, John Oord (late Sophia), Ben Oord (late Helen) and Eddie Oord (Darlene). He is also survived by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Pleasantview Funeral Home (2000 Merrittville Hwy., Thorold L0S1E6).
