He was predeceased by: his spouse Amalie Schafrick; and his brothers, Waldemar, Herbert and Horst Schafrick. He is survived by: his sons, Ron and Jeffery; his siblings, Ursala Paul (Joe) and Erhard Schafrick (Olga); and his sister-in-law Martha Schafrick.
