It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Harry Shayka of Welland, Ontario, who passed away on April 27, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Harry Shayka to show support.

He was predeceased by: his wife Helen; his son Mike; his parents, Andrew Szyjka and Anna Szyjka; and his siblings, Teresa, Maria, Nancy, Pela and Jan.

He is survived by: his children, John Balaban (Jocelyne), Shayka and Olga Napper (Dave Chypak); and his brother Stephen Shayka (Eugenia). He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Harry may be made to St. Michael the Archangel Ukrainian Catholic Church for the Ukraine Relief Effort.
