He is survived by: his wife Alcida; his nephew Aaron; his children, Celia Africa (Larry) of Ottawa, Rick Africa (Johanne) of Welland, Deborah Africa (Daniel) of Johannesburg and South Africa; his grandchildren, Tyler, Kurtis and Aya; and his brothers, Jim, Bill and David. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
