He is survived by: his wife Dorcas Ting Lim Hwang; his grandchildren, Áine Ganly, Madeleine Barrieau, Simon Lhuillier, Elijah Caro, Naomi Caro and Calev Caro; his sons-in-law, Longino Edelin and Alan Caro; and his grandson-in-law Jared Barrieau.
